Brightpearl is a retail-focused ERP and operations platform, owned by Sage, built specifically for multichannel retailers that have outgrown Xero or QuickBooks but are not enterprise enough for NetSuite or D365. Inventory, orders, accounting and CRM in one system, with strong native integrations to Shopify and the big marketplaces.
Patchworks integrates Brightpearl through its REST API. Typical patterns push sales orders in from ecommerce and marketplace channels, write fulfilments back from the warehouse, and keep inventory and pricing in sync with PIM and storefront sources. The accounting side benefits from careful tax-code and channel-tagging design at integration time.
Brightpearl rewards integrations that respect its accounting model rather than treating it as a bare orders database.
